CMG FINANCIAL WEBSITE REDESIGN & RESTRUCTURE

CMG Financial had multiple audiences to target. For instance, when you go to the main website, you'll see the various categories you can choose from based on what audience you are. It will then funnel you to either the company's Retail Lending, Wholesale & Select Partner or Correspondent Lending websites. The Retail lending website was a consumer facing website. With that, each loan agent working for CMG Financial had a website created for them to advertise on. These websites were tied into the CRM so when a profile was created in CRM, you would check a box to turn on their website, which was then populated with the information entered in the CRM. The overall process for this website started with sketches, evolved into a clear sitemap and wireframes, designed into an easy to use website, and then I worked directly with developers to add the functionality and perform UAT to verify the website was ready to launch. It launched seamlessly with no errors.

 

What was I trying to solve?

  • Site was not responsive and needed to become mobile friendly

  • Needed to make the site SEO friendly

  • Old site was made from graphics only, needed to transfer over to an HTML model that didn’t embed text in the images

  • Needed to build out experiences for each of the business segments

  • Needed to be able to build out individual business landing pages for each loan agent

  • Wanted to automated the overall setup of all the landing pages

Functionality:

  • Went from desktop only experience to a responsive design, with a mobile first mentality

  • CRM to feed directly into website

  • Ability to locate a loan officer

  • Various websites for target audiences and different business segments
