Fuzzy - Member database
What was I trying to solve?
Needed to allow for the integration of auto-refills
Needed a way for a prescription from a consult to have the ability to be put on auto-refill for the member until the app Rx experience was completed
Incorporating relevant prescriptions created by Fuzzy
A single place for doctors and nurses to go to see all of the information we have on a pet, including medications, medical charts, etc.
Rx team was taking two days to push prescriptions to pharmacy
research: Internal Tools
In my research, I learned quite a few things:
There was no place for a team member to go to see the full picture of a pet
There were a lot of actions the user could take on app or on web that didn’t carry over into our internal tools, which was a big information gap between the member and the doctor
There were no rules around process, causing a lot of bottlenecks to occur
There wasn’t an easy way to build a cart for a member
Note: In order to create a prescription, doctors and nurses were the only ones who could build a cart for a member that incorporated the prescription - this was Shopify limitation
Measurement of Success:
Increased team efficiency by 150% per person
Increased auto-refill conversion opt-in rate by 74%
Average time for Rx to be pushed to pharmacy reduced to 12 hours
Functionality:
Ability to accommodate new line of business utilizing auto-refills for prescriptions
Include refill history and order history for each member
Incorporated information on whether a member filled with Fuzzy pharmacy or with an external pharmacy
If it was an external pharmacy, the contact information for that pharmacy was included
Include quantity filled each time, as well as order status
Ability to refill quickly from the Kennel pet profile
Ability to easily view past SOAPs and notes
Ability to easily view prescriptions and prescription detail
Research
I interviewed the digital health team to understand the issues with their current workflows and identify opportunities to help their workload.
member database
The main need for a centralized member database was to have a location to see all a users pets, pet health history, user actions, and membership information.
